The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement for healthcare furniture for the Rockford
Community Based Outpatient Center (CBOC), 816 Featherstone Road, Rockford, IL 61107, that meet
the VHA IDIQ specifications and high-quality threshold while integrating excellent environmental
stewardship.
This requirement includes healthcare furniture, design, project management, professional installation, and
maintenance/warranty services. Service required is detailed in SV1 Healthcare Furniture technical
requirements per the VHA Healthcare Furniture multiple award IDIQ.

MTR MSS2 – description calls for a mobile BF and salient characteristics calls out Box/Box/File mobile.  Confirm which is correct– They should be a box/file mobile pedestal

MTR HAW3 – please verify surface dimensions and quantities for all HAW3 requests for the following room numbers: (I noticed my indiv. Spec sheets were off, and page 7 should be 24 x 48. It should be this per the list below & the attached drawings:

                                           1, 24 x 42

                                           3, 24 x 48

                             Rec. 149:

                                           2, 24 X 42

                                           2, 24 X 48

                             Recept. 102:

                                           3, 24 x 48

                                           1, 24 x 60

                              Bid Rm 222 calling out – 24×42– Correct

                              Bid Rm 149, 222, 102 calling out – 24×42

                              Bid Rm 225,102 calling out – 24×60

MTR HAW3 – bid doesn’t call out wire/cable management.  Should that be included in HAW3 pricing?  If so, what is required?  Example undersurface cable basket and leg cable manager– No, we don’t use these items.

MTR’s for MFS1 – calls out the height adjust desks in the description.  Verify if they should be separated for all in the MTR’s for HAW3’s or included in the MSF1’s pricing. They should be like the other HAW3’s  Each area can be priced separately per 222, 149, & 102.  I just listed the HAW3’s for the specifications.

For all MSF1’s, is it okay to price as a grade A fabric?  If not, what price grade? The fabric listed is Strands, Khaki, which is our standard fabric for this system.- Price category 3

For MSF1’s can the transaction counters be solid surface or does it need to be Corian? This should be Corian in Glacier White per the specs.

**Extended Deadline**

The deadline for submissions has been extended from 8/10/23 to 8/20/2023 at 5:00pm e.s.t.

Submissions should be received no later than 5:00pm e.s.t, August 20, 2023. Submissions can be sent in multiple emails to avoid computer system email size limitation, to the Contracting Officer, Stacy Massey at Stacy.Massey@va.gov.
